We thought here @ MMA that we wanted to embrace our street culture and get those friendly battles happening again. Montanasa is only a short while away so this is a chance to get practicing for it. It doesn’t matter if your going to compete in Montanasa or not, everyone is welcome for the small price of $2.
We’ll try and find the dosh to get something better than an ipod, maybe a boom box and there will be judges and maybe a small prize or two.
For all those who were complaining about high prices of Grove and lack of organisation from Loose Control come on down.
I soley promise that this event will most likely be UNORGANISED and vibe completely off the way the dancers feel.
I also promise you wont feel ripped off. Its only a $1 to watch and $2 to enter as a battler…plus all funds will go towards making the freestyle/underground hip hop scene bigger and more developed.
So if you want to know what freestyle is come down and support the dancers. But be warned. I won't tolerate any BS on the day..this isn't a performance to be critiqued, its simply an expression of knowledge, love and passion for the freestyle movement. Can you battle as a crew against others ?
Yo Feillip.. Its 1 on 1 Battles so cant battle as a crew, I think a few crews are just coming though and all battling!
