Hey was just wondering if the footage from the night will be put up on youtube? I saw there was a camera recording. if so when will it go up? Great night had an awesome time Congratulations to all the crews who particapated and espiecally those who pleace
DanceLounge wasn’t there to film so we won’t be putting up footage for the night unfortunately. Several of the other crews have their videos up on youtube already though!
Okay thanks Drumstick (:
Cmon Hoopdreamz! We have great dancers / choreographers and artists in melbourne and we get a cheer leader as a judge! hrmm. I understand lamaroc, i understand jc..but daz? Cmon hoopdreamz!
You guys can do better i know it! Go guys!
Just wondering what crews are competing at Melbourne open division??
In my opinion nobody should be judging crew dancing unless they have choreographed and ran a successful dance crew. It’s great that Hoopdreamz is taking the steps to bring in people that know what they are judging- JC! Also don’t know if it’s just me but I’m so sick of seeing the same judges at every comp.
Hey Drumstick!
I have so many people wanting to come to the Open Division of Groove!
Just wondering how I can get a hold of a bunch of tickets..
thankyou!
I second judging!! I dont see why Breakdancers judge Urban Hip hop dance events. I know that Breaking is a part of Hip Hop but its almost like asking someone that doesn’t breakdance to judge a Breakdance competition.?! I just don’t think they get how much time and effort goes into the little things like transitions etc; especially as Breakdancing is more a solo thing.
I didn’t mind the judges. They pretty much got the winners and places right, or at least who should represent Melbourne at WSB. It’s not only about their breaking but their performance experience I suppose. I would also suspect that all the excellent potential judges have their own junor crews or are affiliated with one.
when will we find out what crews are competing in melbourne open division, i want to know if its worth watching this year????
