What is Commercial?
Commercial dance (in the context of hip hop/urban dance culture) refers to choreographed routines to Hip Hop, R&B or Rap music. The dance style also goes by the name Jazz Funk, Urban Hip Hop, Hip Hop Funk, or Studio Hip Hop. Commercial is predominantly practised in dance studios, and is often geared for commercial use such as for music videos, stage shows, or performances.

Commercial is the most popular of all the dance styles that have evolved from hip hop culture. Numerous choreographers and dance crews have had commercial success working with various musical artists, television shows and films.
