Unitd Styles was broken into a few weeks ago, and all of the money on the premises were stolen. Unitd has been a home away from home for many of us over the years and the studio has always been generous and supportive of the dance community here. As a community, we’re all coming together to support the studio whilst learning some sick routines!

Rewind Workshops 2011

Rewind Workshops 2011

Rewind are running workshops in Melbourne (March 5) and Sydney (March 11). Rewind are one of Melbourne’s leading dance crews, having won various competitions such as Shakedown and Battlegrounds. The workshops will be taught by Steven Wong, Francis Nicart, James Fermalin and Vince Calingasan.

Mr Wiggles Workshop

Mr Wiggles will be teaching two workshops in Sydney, and workshop in Melbourne.

Wiggles is a proud member of three major forces in HIP HOP and Funk Styles culture “Rock Steady Crew”, the “Electric Boogaloos” and “Zulu Nation”.

Mr Wiggles started his career as a dancer by battling throughout the tuff streets of New York city, and eventually throughout the world.
Wiggles built his reputation as a battler, and eventually took his skills to major stages all around the world including Europe, South America, Asia, Middle East, Canada, and on the great stages of Broadway. Wiggles has also been credited with two important movies that helped established HIP HOP “Beat Street” and “Wild Style”.

Rob’s credits include credits include but are not limited to: TV Moves Live: Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Rich&Tone/Flii/Chuck Maldonado), So You Think You Can Dance with Lady Gaga (Laurieann Gibson/Richard Jackson),and choreography for: Chauncey Black, Sammie, Jasmine Villegas, Midi Mafia, Sony Epic, Nike Battlegrounds Tour, BET, MTV and the NAACP Awards.

Poreotics Workshop

America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5 winners Poreotics will be showcasing their talents and leading dance enthusiasts in two special workshops at Urban Force & The Space on two occasions. This will be an all-age event for all levels focusing on the fundamentals of popping and hip hop.

Poreotics (also known as Poreotix) is an all-male dance crew from Westminster, California who are famous for their hard hitting and animated popping and hilarious routines. Since forming in 2007 they have proved they are force to be reckoned with, winning numerous prestigious competitions including America’s Best Dance Crew and Hip Hop Internationals.
