Tantrumm Auditions

Are you passionate about dancing? Do you want to be involved with one of Melbourne’s most exciting up-and-coming urban dance crew? Then get in gear and audition with Tantrumm, we’d love to meet you!

Tantrumm is a dance development hip-hop crew with a focus on competition and showcase performance. Tantrumm has an exciting and unique place in the Victorian, and Australian, hip-hop scene as the crew has proudly qualified at three Groove State Finals, and two Battlegrounds International Finals, and also collaborated with the Epic’s showcase at the 2009 Australian Dance Festival.

Schedule
·       12pm – Registration
·       12:30pm – Warm up
·       1pm – Choreography
·       2pm solo: special skills and freestyle
·       Interviews 3 – 5pm

We are searching for people with a burning desire to develop, compete and perform! We would love to meet dancers who have a variety of dance skills and a capacity to improve (all levels of dance welcome). You must have a thirst for learning all modes of hip hop, plus, Latin Hip hop, Urban Salsa and other sub generic street styles like Reggaeton, Street Bollywood, and popular street partner dance styles. You need to have a positive and sociable attitude with a genuine love for dance and performance.

Tantrumm will be competing in most of the major urban dance competitions in Melbourne in 2010 and is scheduled to showcase both the Sydney Salsa Congress and Melbourne Latin Festival 2010 with Epic, and also the 2010 Australian Dance Festival.
