The highly anticipated television show ‘Got to Dance’ will be coming to Australia! Online auditions commence on Tuesday April 10 and you are invited to submit your video! Got to Dance accepts soloists, duos, and groups and invites you to showcase the best of your skills and talents to win the public vote and become Australia’s favourite!
Raw on the Dancefloor and Raw Sounds 2012
Melbourne’s hottest new Urban/Hip-hop dance talents are gracing the stage in the most electrifying competition yet – “RAW on the Dancefloor” and “RAW Sounds” – 2012.
The RAW comps aim to encourage fresh dance crews and singers to test their skills in a friendly atmosphere. The RAW events are renowned for turning up the freshest new crews and moves on the Melbourne Urban/Hip-Hop singing and dance scene. This event will also feature showcases by top Melbourne dance crews and singers.
Collide
Two new works indulge your love of dance in the styles of Contemporary & Hip Hop. A collision course is set to explode in Melbourne, Directed by Paul Malek with Choreography by Collaboration The Project.
Collaboration The Project is a dance project striving to provide Australian Dancers, Choreographers and Artists, performance & creative opportunities on Australian Shores. Working towards a strong and connected artistic environment, allowing creative artists to grow and expand their craft. This will be their 2nd production season in 2012 following their Midsumma Premier Event,Unanswered which was received with rave reviews.
The Collektive Good Friday Appeal 2012
The Collektive is back hosting its Annual Charity Dance Workshop!!
This is the 4th year running and all previous workshops have been a great success in raising funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital. In 2011 we successfully raised $2006. We are looking to smash this total this year with an added Kids morning workshop and Showcase.
